Imagem Museu Dançante: divulgação Museu de Arte Moderna
Até 21 de junho a São Paulo Companhia de Dança ocupa a sala Paulo Figueiredo do MAM – Museu de Arte Moderna, no Parque Ibirapuera, com o mostra Museu Dançante. A proposta oferece uma experiência interativa de criação de coreografias no museu com os visitantes. Durante alguns dias da semana, o público poderá acompanhar ao vivo o processo de trabalho de coreógrafos com os bailarinos por meio de ensaios abertos e dias dedicados à apresentação dos coreógrafos Clébio Oliveira e Rafael Gomes com outros integrantes da SPCD.
Aqui, a artes visuais e a dança encaram o desafio comum de lidar com corpos no espaço. Para a dança, a ocupação de palcos e tablados sempre foi associada ao movimento, mas a escultura tradicionalmente trabalha com objetos parados. No entanto, as artes visuais ultrapassam as fronteiras estabelecidas ao produzirem obras que convidam o público a agir, abandonando a posição passiva característica da contemplação.
Além de poder circundar a escultura, o público passa a tocar, penetrar, subir, descer, pisar, sentar, deitar etc. Essas obras criam, assim, situações de movimentação do público que transformam as exposições em locais de intensa interação corporal.
Nos períodos de intervalo da exposição Museu Dançante são exibidos filmes sobre a produção da São Paulo Companhia de Dança, bem como seus documentários sobre expoentes da dança no Brasil.
